The AI Song Contest is introducing a Semi Final stage for its 2022 edition. In 2021, there were 38 competing entries, compared to 13 entries in its inaugural edition, in 2020. Last year, only 13 of the 38 entries received more than 1% of votes through the public vote – hence the introduction of the Semi Final stage in 2022.
The AI Song Contest is an international music competition for songs that have been composed using artificial intelligence. The winner is decided by a 50% jury vote and 50% public vote split. The UK debuted in 2020, while Ireland made their debut last year.
