Last night, Heat 5 of the 2022 American Song Contest took place and we have the final direct Semi Finalist. The Jury have spoken and the fifth qualifier is Michigan. Ada LeAnn represented her state with “Natalie”.

The American public have until Wednesday, 19:00 EDT (23:00 GMT) to vote for a further three Semi Finalists out of the remaining 10 Acts:

• Guam – Jason J. – Midnight
• Idaho – Andrew Sheppard – Steady MACHINE
• Illinois – Justin Jesso – Lifelines
• Maryland – Sisqo – It’s Up
• Missouri – HALIE – Better Things
• New Mexico – Khalisol – Drop
• North Carolina – John Morgan – Right in the Middle
• Vermont – Josh Panda – Rollercoaster
