
On the lead up to the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is been held in Paris, we are looking back at all the countries to have participated in the Contest and their histories – past and present. Today we start Georgia’s story.
Georgia debuted at the 2007 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Mariam Romelashvili participated with “Odelia Ranuni”, finishing in 4th place and 116 points.
Bzikebi represented Georgia at the 2008 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Limassol, Cyprus. They participated with “Bzz..”, finishing in 1st place (their best position) and 154 points.
Princesses represented Georgia at the 2009 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Kyiv, Ukraine. They participated with “Lurji prinveli”, finishing in 6th place and 68 points.
Mariam Kakhelishvili represented Georgia at the 2010 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Minsk, Belarus. She participated with “Mari-Dari”, finishing in 4th place and 109 points.
Candy represented Georgia at the 2011 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Yerevan, Armenia. They participated with “Candy Music”, finishing in 1st place (their best position) and 108 points.
