
On the lead up to the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is been held in Paris, we are looking back at all the countries to have participated in the Contest and their histories – past and present. Today we continue with Australia’s story.
Australia debuted at the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Sofia, Bulgaria. Bella Paige participated with “My Girls”, finishing in 8th place and 64 points.
Alexa Curtis represented Australia at the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Valletta, Malta. She participated with “We Are”, finishing in 5th place and 202 points.
Isabella Clarke represented Australia at the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Tbilisi, Georgia. She participated with “Speak Up”, finishing in 3rd place (their best position) and 172 points.
Jael represented Australia at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Minsk, Belarus. She participated with “Champion”, finishing in 3rd place (their best position) and 201 points.
Jordan Anthony represented Australia at the 2019 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Gliwice, Poland – their final participation to date. He participated with “We Will Rise”, finishing in 8th place and 121 points. You can watch our interview with Jordan HERE.
