
On the lead up to the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is been held in Paris, we are looking back at all the countries to have participated in the Contest and their histories – past and present. Today we continue with Lithuania’s story.
Lithuania debuted at the 2007 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Lina Joy participated with “Kai miestas snaudžia”, finishing in 13th place and 33 points.
Eglė Jurgaitytė represented Lithuania at the 2008 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Limassol, Cyprus. She participated with “Laiminga diena”, finishing in 3rd place (their best position) and 103 points.
After a one year wait, Lithuania returned to the 2010 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Minsk, Belarus. Bartas participated with “Oki Doki”, finishing in 6th and last place, with 67 points.
Paulina Skrabytė represented Lithuania at the 2011 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Yerevan, Armenia – their final participation to date. She participated with “Debesys”, finishing in 10th place and 53 points.
