On the lead up to the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is been held in Paris, we are looking back at all the countries to have participated in the Contest and their histories – past and present. Today we are continuing with Sweden’s story.
Frida Sandén represented Sweden at the 2007 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. He participated with “Nu eller aldrig”, finishing in 8th place and 83 points.
After a one year wait, Sweden returned to the 2009 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Kyiv, Ukraine. Mimmi Sandén participated with “Du”, finishing in 6th and last place, with 68 points.
Josefine Ridell represented Sweden at the 2010 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Minsk, Belarus. She participated with “Allt jag vill ha”, finishing in 11th place and 48 points.
Erik Rapp represented Sweden at the 2011 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Yerevan, Armenia. He participated with “Faller”, finishing in 9th place and 57 points.
