
On the lead up to the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is been held in Paris, we are looking back at all the countries to have participated in the Contest and their histories – past and present. Today we start Sweden’s story.
Sweden debuted at the 2003 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Honeypies participated with “Stoppa mig!”, finishing in 15th place and 12 points.
Limelights represented Sweden at the 2004 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Lillehammer, Norway. They participated with “Varför jag?”, finishing in 15th place and 8 points.
M+ represented Sweden at the 2005 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Hasselt, Belgium. They participated with “Gränslös kärlek”, finishing in 15th place and 22 points.
Molly Sandén represented Sweden at the 2006 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Bucharest, Romania. She participated with “Det finaste någon kan få”, finishing in 3rd place (their best position) and 116 points.
