Il Resto del Carlino, an Italian media outlet, has reported that RAI, the Italian national broadcaster, will announce the Host City for the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest on Monday 30th August. RAI had previously said the announcement would be made by the end of this month.
Bologna, Milan, Pesaro, Rimini and Turin are the final five cities in the race. The Host City must have an international airport no more than 90 minutes from the city, over 2,000 hotel rooms in the area close to the event and an infrastructure capable of hosting a large-scale live broadcast with the minimum requirements listed below.
