#JESC20: Celebrating Moldova At Junior Eurovision

Over the course of November and on the lead up to the 2020 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we will be celebrating the countries that have participated at the Contest. Today, we celebrate Moldova.

Moldova debuted at the Contest in 2010, in Minsk, Belarus. Ștefan Roșcovan finished in eighth place with her entry “Ali Baba”, scoring 54 points. This included one set of twelve points from the EBU.

The most successful entry from Moldova was in 2011, when the Contest took place in Yerevan, Armenia. Lerika finished in sixth place with her entry “No, No”, scoring 78 points. This included one set of twelve points from the EBU.

The most recent Moldovan entry was in 2013, when the Contest took place in Kyiv, Ukraine. Rafael Bobeica finished in eleventh place with his entry “Cum să fim”, scoring 41 points. This included one set of twelve points from the EBU.
