The selection processes for both Belarus and Serbia have been announced ahead of this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
In Belarus, entries can now be submitted to BTRC, the Belarusian national broadcaster, until Saturday 15th August. By Monday 24th August, fifteen finalists will have been selected by a focus group put together by BTRC.
BTRC have yet to decide whether to hold an internal selection or a national final. If the internal route is chosen, this will be done by Tuesday 15th September. If a national final is to be held, this will be done by Friday 16th October.
In Serbia, an internal selection will be held again by RTS, the Serbian national broadcaster. Entries can be submitted now – with a closing date of Wednesday 1st September. It is currently unknown when this year’s Serbian participant will be announced.
