In the last couple of weeks, Jon Ola Sand had claimed that talks between the EBU and SNRT surrounding a return to the Eurovision Song Contest.

However, this sounds very much one sided. A spokesperson for SNRT has stated:

“At my level, for the moment, I have no information on this subject.”

Only time will tell, whether or not we will see Morocco return to the Contest after their debut in 1980.
