Mary Kennedy, the host of the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin. She is officially leaving RTE this September, after celebrating her 65th birthday.

Mary told the RTE Guide:

“I’d love to stay but it’s up to RTE if I go or not. All I can say is that I love what I do and I would love it to continue.”

Mary Kennedy single-handedly hosted the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest – the only other person to do this since was Petra Mede, when she took the hosting duties in 2013, when the Contest took place in Malmo.
