In an unfortunate state of affairs yet again for TG4, the Irish entry for this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest has been revealed by Host Broadcaster BTRC. Last year, the Irish entry was revealed when the Official Album was released.
Taylor Hynes will represent his nation with the song “I.O.U.” and also becomes the first male act to represent Ireland.

The eagle-eyed amongst you will have notice that Taylor didn’t win any of the four Semi Finals in this year’s National Selection and made the final (to be broadcast this Sunday) by Jury selection. Taylor first tried to represent Ireland back in 2016.
