Whilst we are all in the midst of rehearsals in Lisbon in preparation for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, it turns out the Turkvision Song Contest may well be returning from the dead this year. It is currently unknown when or where the 2018 addition will take place.
The Turkvision Song Contest will be returning after a four year break. Last year’s edition was cancelled due to a legal challenge after it was suppose to be hosted in Astana, Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan won the contest back in 2014 with “Izin korem”, sung by Zhanar Dugalova.
