In a move that has stunned fans the world over, Francesco Gabbani’s dancing gorilla has become the latest contestant to be DENIED entry to Ukraine for Eurovision 2017.

The decision comes after detailed scrutiny by relevant authorities of all of this year’s contestants heading to Kyiv. The gorilla, who has captured the imagination of the internet with his dance routine alongside Italy’s Francesco, was subsequently refused permission to enter the country.

While fans are now speculating how much this shock announcement will harm Italy’s chances in the contest, the gorilla himself was unavailable for comment…
