#ROMANIA – 15 SEMIFINALISTS TO BE REVEALED LIVE ON SUNDAY

banner-roSunday – February 12 – during a live show, starting from 20.10 local time on TVR 2, TVR and TVR HD +, we will find out the 15 semifinalists of Selectia Nationala.

The first gala of Selectia Nationala will be presented by Ioana Voicu and Dan Helciug.

The 15 semifinalists will take the stage being announced by artists which over the years, represented Romania at Eurovision – Elena Gheorghe, Luminita Anghel, Monica Anghel, Paula Seling, Cezar Ouatu, Marcel Pavel, Ovi and Dan Bittman – and also important people from TVR’s team: Mihai Constantin, Raluca Arvat, Marina Almăşan, Mircea Radu, Costin Deşliu, Stela Popa, Iulia Zgripcea, Radu Tudor and the coordinator for Selectia Nationala 2017 Iuliana Marciuc.

During the program, we will hear all 15 songs qualified in the semifinals and guest artists will perform some of the songs that represented Romania at Eurovision Song Contest over the years.

All 15 semifinalists were chosen by the jury, following auditions that took place at the end of January. The five jurors are Luminita Anghel, Ovi Jacobsen, Adrian Romcescu, Paula Seling and Andrei Tudor.

The Semifinal of Selectia Nationala will be on Sunday- February 26 and the final is scheduled for March 5.

If the Semifinal on 26 February, the jury will choose ten acts which will qualify for the final on March. The winner of Selectia Nationala will be decided exclusively by the public through televoting.
