Tonight the UK will – like last year – reveal their act for Eurovision 2015 on the BBC Red Button service in the UK at 22:25 CET.

Our man Phil from On Europe will be keeping you updated from the UK with the news. Many names have been mentioned as usual! From X-Factor former winner Alexandra Burke to Grace Savage to The Wonder Villains and their funky song ‘Golden Five’

You can follow our LIVE BLOG HERE – You know the drill by now. Just refresh the page for our live updates. Hopefully the reveal will be good news for our UK readers or they may run faster than Andreas Kümmert from a Eurovision stage! #JustSaying

Now Phil has been a little under the weather recently, so join us in asking the BBC not to make the situation worse with their announcement!

LIVE BLOG – 22:25 CET

Straight into the song…… And it’s nothing like the I expected   it’s the Charleston!! Entitled “still in love with you” it’s a fun and lively song that fans will not get at all but the music video just made me smile after about 40 seconds   It’s catchy, infectious fusion of the 20’s and today   Described as Electroswing it gets in your brain.  the singers, whose names I didn’t catch, totally believe in the song and that’s going to get people smiling

Scott is interviewing the duo and they seem good value and happy to be in the contest  who tells us about themselves

Phil’s Thoughts

Nothing like we have ever entered before  Thank the lord, and it is infectious and has the potential to do well  it has a smiling factor that makes me very happy.  Fans might not like it, but it is a total departure and……… I am happy

So what do you think of the UK’s entry this year? Will it be UK 12 Points? Is it a UK win in Vienna? A good entrant?

Let us know.

  1. In a sea of ballads being sent by many of the other countries, this really stands out – it’s extremely catchy and it will stick in your head for a long time. Given a good performance, the right staging and a favorable draw in the final, I think the UK could surprise a lot of people

  2. … *tumbleweeds*…

Wow. The BBC really REALLY doesn’t give a single shiny sh*te about Eurovision, does it?
