Last year Eurovision winner Niamh Kavanagh was one of the special guests at the inaugural ‘The Outing’ festival in Lisdoonvarna in Ireland. This year the organisers have grown the music and match making festival and it will again have a Eurovision flavour.
Brian Kennedy who came 10th at Eurovision in 2006 with the ballad ‘Every Song is a Cry for Love’ will be one of the headline guests at the weekends events. The event is taking place the weekend of the 3rd to the 6th of October.
There will also be the ‘Euphoria’ night club – well you can’t get much more Eurovision than that! This is a unique music festival for all, where the entire village of Lisdoonvarna is given over to ‘The Outing’ celebrations. It is a picture postcard location for one of the friendliest and entertaining weekends in Ireland.
Last year saw a lot of international visitors and this year is set to be have even more guests coming along for the fun. There are tons of events to suit all tastes of music and entertainment for all – no matter what part of the community you come from.
