Armenia’s first ever representative at Eurovision, Andre, has been awarded the highest distinction in Armenia – ‘Honoured Artist of Armenia’.

He was presented with the honour by the Armenian President Mr Serzh Sargsyan at an official ceremony on September 21st.

Andre has been a successful performer for over 20 years and has received 13 awards as Armenia’s ‘Best Singer’. He has released 6 studio albums and was Armenia’s first representative at Eurovision in 2006 where he placed 8th in the Grand final with his song ‘Without Your Love’.

Congratulations to Andre on his prestigious award.
