Norway’s 2011 Eurovision representative Stella Mwangi has left her ‘Haba Haba’ days behind her and she is taking care of ‘Business’ with Fugees front man Wyclef Jean.

Mwangi’s ‘Haba Haba’ is guaranteed to get most eurovision fans on the dance floor waving their arms around convinced that they were good enough to be with her on the Dusseldorf Eurovision stage.

Since Eurovision Stella has embraced her Kenyan and rapping roots and ‘Haba Haba’ is a far cry from her music these days. From songs like ‘Koolio’ to her most recent ‘Biashara/Business’ that has been remixed and given a new video featuring rappers Kristoff and Khaligraph. Stella is taking care of business – ‘Gangsta style’.

Last week Mwangi posted the following picture of her with ex Fugees frontman, Grammy winning hit music producer Wyclef Jean. Wyclef has been responsible for producing many big name artists and is credited with remixing Destiny’s Child’s first hit ‘No, No, No’. Mwangi posted of the picture of both of them together with the comment

“When the student is ready, the teacher appears – Ryding around with king clef #WyclefJean”

We wait and see what is to come from this potential collaboration.
