Latvian broadcaster (LTV) have confirmed to our friends at esctoday that they will be competing at Eurovision 2014 in Denmark.

They shall be using again the contest “Dziesma” for their selection. There will be 2 semi finals and a Grand final with provisional dates set for January 18th, 19th and February respectively.

Song submission details will be announced by the broadcaster in October – so stay tuned.

Latvia failed to qualify for the Grand Final of Eurovision this year with “Her We Go” by the stage diving “Groupa PeR” – which we rather liked here at Eurovision Ireland.
