Winny Puhh came so close to being the Estonian entry at Eurovision 2013 with their heavy metal song “”Meiecundimees üks Korsakov läks eile Lätti.” Well today Mens fashion designer Rick Owens made them centre stage at his Spring 2014 show in Paris.
To say they were just centre stage is an understatement. They started by sitting on the stage and then standing and performing their songs until they were lifted into the air by their ankles and continued to play. They were dressed in their wrestling lycra leotards.

According to British writer Charlie Porter – the addition of “Winny Puhh was HEAVEN. The rockers stood up, they sat down, they laid down, and then eventually were pulled up by their ankles towards the ceiling–all while playing some melodic tune destined to never see the light of Eurovision glory.”
Twitter went crazy at the sight of the fashion show and Winnie Puhh.
Here is a video link to the band coming onto the catwalk stage
Then here is the link to the band being held by their ankles while still playing during the fashion show.
Cathy Horyn (Fashion Writer) quotes Rick Owens as saying, “I like their vision of excess.” Now, how long ’til Hedi Slimane snaps up Winny Puhh for a Saint Laurent campaign, hmmm?”
So Winny Puhh may not have made it to the capital of Eurovision in Malmo but they have made it to the capital of Fashion instead.
