My thoughts on some of SF2
San Marino – Was a favourite of mine but she sang flat and didn’t hit the high notes well. – Not really surprised then that she failed to qualify…but would have preferred San Marino over Armenia, Hungary or Greece!
Hungary – Had liked this from the start but I’m surprised it got through. He had absolutely NO charisma on screen and was dull as dishwater to watch and hear
Georgia – Fantastic! Has a winning sound to me!
Romania – Gone right UP in my estimation after that performance – Dark horse for me! – Drawn 2nd half so will definately be remembered on Sat! Bucharest 2014??
Azerbaijan – yeh, looks good, sounds good, … meh not sure though for a win…
Finland – Kinda liked it… hated it up until tonight! Sam Fox?? … Probably do ok on Sat.. not a winner imo though
Malta Malta Malta… I just can’t help smiling… The most feel-good song I’ve heard in a long time! I really enjoyed their performance :-)
Norway – Has been a favorite of mine from the first time I heard it…. I think this will go top 3… This would make a great James Bond Movie theme song! :-)
Iceland – Lovely song. Not a winner though.
Greece & Armenia – Why??
Anyway… Team Ireland for me! I’ve got a few quid on ya lads…! :-) ,….. Oh me nerves are kicking in!!!

Aw well 7/ 10 not bad for this semi, well done you guys! Iceland knocked my dear Israel out as I thought may happen it was one or the other and yet Moran (and her assets) were wonderful. Pity we won’t get to oggle again come Saturday. Sad for San Marino it was always wishful thinking and I wonder if we will see them back next year what more can they do? it was lovely.. Armenia is my surprise, I thought Albania was the better rock number on stage. Delighted for Hungary, he did a good job. 7/10. So pleased for Malta but I don’t think it’s Valetta next year. Azerbaijan (expected more but it did deliver), Georgia (ditto) Greece (such fun) Finland (better than expected) and Norway ( Actually very good) Romania (I just knew he was going to do it). All in all I loved it, Petra’s doing a great job and her history slot is funny. Did Linda pop up tonight? I must have missed it. The opening was well done too. Am not a fan of more singing in the interval especially when some of the acts in stage were much better. All in all. a good night and I enjoyed it. :)
7/10 was good in this SF Martin. So happy for Malta and Iceland – both could go Top 10

Hmm. I would so love San Marino to qualify and Hungary too but am still not sure. I also think that after Tuesday’s results there could be another surprise in store again tonight with the new jury voting procedure in place. I therefore am thinking that Israel and Iceland will be the two that could be battling it out for the 10th spot should Romania (shock horror) make it.
Oh well, time to bite the bullet. In no particular order my prediction is:
1 San Marino 2 Georgia 3 Azerbaijan 4 Greece 5 Norway 6 Finland 7 Malta 8 Albania 9 Romania 10 Israel (just squeezing Iceland out). I managed to get 8/10from semi final 1 but this one is much more difficult to predict.
