Carolina Ferre hosted the event at the Sant Cugat del Vallès studios.  The 50/50 decision making process produced a winner after the popular national act – El Sueño de Morfeo performed all 3 final competing songs live.

Previously, one of the three finalist songs was chosen through an Internet vote where two songs competed for a spot in the final. The established pop-rock act ESDM was selected internally by RTVE.
