Russian Broadcaster – Channel 1 – has announced that for Eurovision 2013 they will be opting for an internal selection process. This comes as a surprise as we are used to their popular National Final.
Back in December the Russian Broadcaster called for all composers and artists wishing to take part in Eurovision 2013 to send in their submissions. As always the interest has been vast and a select committee will choose the Russian representative for Malmo. No confirmation as of yet when this will be.
Russia last year came second in the Eurovision Song Contest in Baku with the highly popular Buranovskiye Babushki – “Party For Everybody”. Can they go one step higher and take the grand prix in Malmo?
