Who will host the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmo Sweden? This is a huge honor for any TV presenter to be given such a task. Above is the legendary Ms Katie Boyle who presented the contest on 4 occasions in the United Kingdon – 1960, 1963, 1968 and 1974. With her witt, charm, humor, elegance and professionalism she is the glowing standard of Eurovision Presenters. 

Swedish Broadcaster SVT are not content to just publish a press release saying who this year’s Eurovision Presenter will be. They are showing the contest more respect than that – and gradually building the sense of occasion by holding a press conference to announce the lucky person. 

At 11.15am today at a press conference in Operakällaren, Stockholm, where Mr Swedish Eurovision/Melodifestivalen Mr Christer Björkman announced that Petra Mede will be the Presenter of Eurovision 2013.
