He maybe known as a movie villain but it seems that Hollywood Star, Oscar Winner and Austrian Actor Christoph Waltz is one of the favourites to host Eurovision 2015. Danish TV this year scored a huge success with Borgen star Pilou Asbæk being one of the hosts of the contest. May ORF (Austrian Broadcaster) be willing to entice a Global Name to host Europe’s Favourite TV Show in 2015?

In a poll published on Austrian news agency Kurier – Christoph Waltz was the favourite of the Austrian public to be one of the hosts for the 60th anniversary of the Eurovision Song Contest next year. Others that the public wanted were 2014 Eurovision Winner Conchita Wurst and Austrian comedy duo of Dirk Sterman and Christoph Grissemann.

A name that maybe familiar to Eurovision fans is Austrian commentator Andi Knoll who is also being mentioned as a potential host.

Christoph Waltz is a twice Oscar-winning actor for his roles in Inglorious Basterds and Django. ‘Christoph and Conchita’ has a certain ring to it!
