🇫🇷 #JESC26: Commentator & Broadcast Plans Revealed

France Télévisions, the French national broadcaster, have announced their commentator and broadcast details, ahead of the 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Ta’ Qali.

Stéphane Bern will once again be commentating at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest – a role he has taken on annually since 2018. He has also commentated at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2010 and then annually since 2015. This year, Stéphane will not be joined by a co-commentator – usually a former French Junior Eurovision participant.

Before the Contest is shown on France 4, Stéphane Bern will host a warm up show, ‘Dans les coulisses de l’Eurovision Junior’, on France 2, at 19:30 BST/20:30 CEST. The French representative, Alec, will also be appearing in additional programming, across France Télévisions, on the lead up to the Contest. ‘Tout le monde veut prendre sa place’ will be shown on Tuesday 13th October, at 11:00 BST/12:00 CEST. ‘Quelle époque!’ will be shown on Saturday 17th October, at 22:25 BST/23:25 CEST.
