🇸🇪 #SWEDEN: Direkt till finalen från Leksand – Part 1/2

For our Summer 2026 feature series, we are celebrating 25 years of Melodifestivalen on tour. We will take a look at the songs that have progressed direct to the final over the past two and a half decades. Today we are looking at the songs that have progressed from Leksand.

2006 – Heat One

The first heat of 2006 took place at the Ejendals Arena, in Leksand. Andreas Johnson took first place (117,677 votes), with “Sing for Me”, while Linda Bengtzing took second place (106,164 votes), with “Jag ljuger så bra”.

2009 – Heat Three

The third heat of 2009 took place at the Ejendals Arena, in Leksand. E.M.D. gained 116,034 votes, with “Baby Goodbye”, while Molly Sandén gained 85,886 votes with “Så vill stjärnorna” after the round two duels.
