For our Summer 2026 feature series, we are celebrating 25 years of Melodifestivalen on tour. We will take a look at the songs that have progressed direct to the final over the past two and a half decades. Today we are looking at the songs that have progressed from Karlstad.

2018 – Heat One

The first heat of 2018 took place at the Löfbergs Arena, in Karlstad. Benjamin Ingrosso took first place (1,295,155 votes), with “Dance You Off”, while John Lundvik took second place (1,152,133 votes), with “My Turn”.

2024 – Heat Five

The fifth heat of 2024 took place at the Löfbergs Arena, in Karlstad. Marcus & Martinus took first place (1,759,673 votes) and qualified after the first round of voting, with “Unforgettable”, while Medina took second place (82 points) after the second round of voting, with “Que Sera”.
