
CBC/Radio-Canada, the Canadian national broadcaster, have confirmed their non-participation at the 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Ta’ Qali.
FOLLOWING on from confirming their debut at the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest, CBC/Radio-Canada has stated the same can’t be said for the 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Ta’ Qali. Leon Mar, Senior Director of Public Relations at CBC/Radio-Canada, had the following to say:
“We will not be participating in Junior Eurovision in 2026. The issue of participation in subsequent editions has not yet been discussed. We are currently focused on Eurovision 2027 in Bulgaria.”
