
CBC/Radio-Canada, the Canadian national broadcaster, have yet to announce any participation plans, at the Eurovision Song Contest.
FOLLOWING on from yesterday’s decision to grant CBC/Radio-Canada full EBU membership, following a revision to the EBU’s Statutes, CBC has stopped short of confirming whether Canada will take part in the Eurovision Song Contest or not. A CBC spokesperson had the following to say:
“We’ll have more to say about the Eurovision Song Contest later.”
