🏳️‍🌈 #PRIDE26: June 7th – Rykka

It’s June and it’s Pride month. Here at Eurovision Ireland, we are going to highlight some of the LGBTQ+ artists to have participated in the Eurovision Song Contest.

For June 7th, we are continuing with Rykka. They represented Switzerland with “The Last of Our Kind”, taking 18th place in the semi final, with 28 points. Rykka is Non-Binary. You can watch their performance of “The Last of Our Kind” below:

Non-Binary refers to a person who doesn’t identify only male or only female, or who identifies as both. It is a word used to define genders that do not fit into either male or female classifications.

Let us know what you think about Switzerland and the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest – either in the comments below or on our FACEBOOKBLUESKYTWITTERYOUTUBEINSTAGRAM and TIKTOK pages.

The Eurovision Community, which Eurovision Ireland are a part of, celebrates diversity through music. Please keep your comments respectful. We will not tolerate racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, body-shaming or any other derogatory or hostile language.
