The EBU, the European Broadcasting Union, have revealed a 70th anniversary tour, which will follow the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, in Vienna.
Tickets for the 70th Eurovision Song Contest sold out in record time earlier in January, but attending Vienna 2026 wasn’t your only chance to enjoy a live Eurovision experience this summer! For the first time ever, the Eurovision Song Contest is heading out on a live concert tour. The unique concert experience will be coming to you from ten cities across Europe, celebrating seven decades of the biggest live music event in the world.
At each concert, fans will be able to see not just some of their all-time favourite Eurovision stars, but also a selection of artists that will be competing at the Grand Final of Vienna 2026. So, if you end up finding some new faves while watching the Eurovision Song Contest in May, you might well be able to experience them live just one month later. The lineup of 2026 artists joining the tour starting in June will be confirmed after the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final, which is happening on Saturday 16 May. The Eurovision Icons performing in each city will be announced in the coming weeks.
To celebrate seven decades of the Eurovision Song Contest, the entire concert will be dedicated to the songs you love. Artists will perform their own Eurovision entries plus special cover versions of their own favourite classics from the Contest’s 70-year history.
Martin Green CBE, Director of the Eurovision Song Contest, had the following to say:
“As we celebrate 70 years of the Eurovision Song Contest, we wanted to do something truly unique and special – and the Eurovision Song Contest Live Tour is exactly that. This historic first tour captures the evolution of the Contest – from broadcast icon to an immersive live experience – with a format that celebrates our fantastic past whilst looking to the future.
For the very first time we are bringing the magic of the Eurovision Song Contest live experience directly to fans and their friends and families all over Europe. This is our chance to celebrate the music, the artists, and the community that have made the Eurovision Song Contest what it is for seven remarkable decades.”
