The City of Vienna, have announced the launch of a countdown clock, ahead of the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, in Vienna.

From midnight on Thursday 1st January, the City of Vienna’s countdown clock will commence a count down to the start of the Grand Final of the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, on Saturday 16th May. The countdown clock will take the form of a large LED screen, located on the Ringstrasse, which will be visible from the Rathausplatz.
