RTP, the Portuguese national broadcaster, have confirmed participation at the 2025 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

RTP confirmed during the press conference following Festival da Canção 2025, that Portugal will be participating at the 2025 Contest. It is currently unclear how the Portuguese representative will be chosen, however it is expected they will continue to use The Voice Kids. Furthermore, RTP confirmed that they will not be hosting the 2025 Contest.
