Eurovision Ireland’s countdown to the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Madrid, continues today. This year, our countdown will look at the top Acts to ‘Bloom’ for the Participating Countries past and present, while we will also look at the top five Acts to ‘Bloom’ from all the previous Contests.

Today we are looking at the Limassol Contest of 2008. The top five Acts to ‘Bloom’ at Limassol 2008 were:

Georgia, 1st: Bzikebi, “Bzz..” (154 points)

Ukraine, 2nd: Viktoria Petryk, “Matrosy” (135 points)

Lithuania, 3rd: Eglė Jurgaitytė, “Laiminga diena” (103 points)

Malta, 4th: Daniel Testa, “Junior Swing” (100 points)

North Macedonia, 5th: Bobi Andonov, “Prati mi SMS” (93 points)
