Eurovision Ireland’s countdown to the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Madrid, continues today. This year, our countdown will look at the top Acts to ‘Bloom’ for the Participating Countries past and present, while we will also look at the top five Acts to ‘Bloom’ from all the previous Contests.
Today we are looking at the former participating country of Latvia. While they never made the #Top3 or the #Top5, the Latvians did make the #Top10 a total of two times. The two Latvian Acts to ‘Bloom’ within the #Top10 were:
2003: Dzintars Čīča, “Tu esi vasarā” (9th place, 37 points)
2010: Šarlote and the Sea Stones, “Viva la Dance (Dejo tā)” (10th place, 51 points)
