This week, we are celebrating the Top 25 Scoring Danish Entries Since 1975 ahead of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2024. Today, we take a look at positions 20 to 16.
20: 1990 – Lonnie Devantier, “Hallo Hallo”
Lonnie Devantier represented Denmark at the 1990 Contest in Zagreb. Lonnie scored 64 points with the song “Hallo Hallo”, finishing in 8th place.
19: 1999 – Trine Jepsen & Michael Teschl, “This Time I Mean It”
Trine Jepsen & Michael Teschl represented Denmark at the 1999 Contest in Jerusalem. Tripe & Michael scored 71 points with the song “This Time I Mean It”, finishing in 8th place.
18: 2014 – Basim, “Cliche Love Song”
Basim represented Denmark at the 2014 Contest in Copenhagen. Basim scored 74 points with the song “Cliche Love Song”, finishing in 9th place.
17: 2009 – Brinck, “Believe Again”
Brinck represented Denmark at the 2009 Contest in Moscow. Brinck scored 74 points with the song “Believe Again”, finishing in 13th place. Brinck features in 17th place after getting 3 sets of eight points compared to Basim’s 2.
16: 1979 – Tommy Seebach, “Disco Tango”
Tommy Seebach represented Denmark at the 1979 Contest in Jerusalem. Tommy scored 76 points with the song “Disco Tango”, finishing in 6th place.
