RAI, the Italian national broadcaster, have announced further details of their participation at the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Nice.

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be shown on Rai 2, instead of Rai 1 like in 2022. Rai 2 is the home of the Eurovision Song Contest Semi Finals. Mario Acampa will return once again to commentate and will be joined by an additional commentator that will be announced closer to the Contest.

The Italian representative will be revealed by RAI in September. RAI will also broadcast a live build-up show from Turin, where both commentators will be and additional guests.
