
Over the course of this week, on the lead up to the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we will be celebrating the countries that are taking part at the Contest and their Junior Eurovision story so far. Today, we conclude Ireland’s story.
Anna Kearney represented Ireland at the 2019 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Gliwice, Poland. She participated with “Banshee”, finishing in 12th place and 73 points.
After a one year break due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Ireland returned to the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Paris, France. Maiú Levi Lawlor participated with “Saor (Disappear)”, finishing in 18th place and 44 points.
