ProSieben, the German national broadcaster, has announced that the third edition of the Free European Song Contest will take place next year, in 2023, rather than in the second half of this year.
Daniel Rosemann, Channel Manager at ProSieben, has indicated that the 2023 edition of the Contest, will be more international than ever. Ireland won the second edition in 2021, when Rea Garvey took victory with “The One”.
