
On the lead up to the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is been held in Paris, we are looking back at all the countries to have participated in the Contest and their histories – past and present. Today we continue with Ukraine’s story.
Anastasiya Baginska represented Ukraine at the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Tbilisi, Georgia. She participated with “Don’t Stop”, finishing in 7th place and 147 points.
Darina Krasnovetska represented Ukraine at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Minsk, Belarus. She participated with “Say Love”, finishing in 4th place and 182 points.
Sophia Ivanko represented Ukraine at the 2019 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Gliwice, Poland. She participated with “The Spirit of Music”, finishing in 15th place and 59 points.
Oleksandr Balabanov represented Ukraine at the 2020 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Warsaw, Poland. He participated with “Vidkryvai (Open Up)”, finishing in 7th place and 106 points.
Can Olena Usenko take Ukraine’s second victory with “Vazhil”, in Paris at the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest?
