
Earlier today, the Kazakh National Final for the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest took place. After a public and jury vote, which was a 50:50 split, both Beknur Jánibekuly & Álınur Khamzin tied for first place and will both go forward to represent Kazakhstan in Paris.
Following a consultation with the jury, it was decided that both singers would perform Álınur’s entry “Ertegi alemi” – in English translates as “World of Fairytales” and in Irish translates as “Domhan na Sióg”. You can watch Álınur’s performance of “Ertegi alemi” below:
