
NRK, the Norwegian national broadcaster, has launched their national selection, Virtuous, hinting the return of Eurovision Young Musicians in 2022.
Applications close for Virtuous on Wednesday 15th December, with those entering must be between 12 and 21 on Tuesday 21st June next year. The Norwegian representative will be chosen in March, with the date still to be revealed.
The Eurovision Young Musicians last took place in 2018, when the Contest was held in Edinburgh. The Contest was due to take place in Zagreb last year, but was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The European Broadcasting Union have yet to confirm whether or not the Eurovision Young Musicians will be taking place in 2022.
