#EURO2020: Eurovision Jukebox – Match Day 18

The UEFA 2020 European Championships are here after a postponement of one year – more commonly known as Euro 2020. Each day, we will upload tracks into our Jukebox articles, to accompany the matches played on that day. Today sees two matches – Switzerland vs. Spain and Belgium vs. Italy.

Switzerland – “Giorgio”

Lys Assia represented Switzerland at the 1958 Eurovision Song Contest in Hilversum, The Netherlands. Lys sang “Giorgio” and finished in 2nd place, with a total of 24 points.

Spain – “Su canción”

Betty Missiego represented Spain at the 1979 Eurovision Song Contest in Jerusalem, Israel. Betty sang “Su canción” and finished in 2nd place, with a total of 116 points.

Belgium – “Rhythm Inside

Loïc Nottet represented Belgium at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria. Loïc sang “Rhythm Inside” and finished in 4th place, with a total of 217 points.

Italy – “Madness of Love”

Raphael Gualazzi represented Italy at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest in Dusseldorf, Germany. Raphael sang “Madness of Love” and finished in 2nd place, with a total of 189 points.
