#EURO2020: Eurovision Jukebox – Match Day 11

The UEFA 2020 European Championships are here after a postponement of one year – more commonly known as Euro 2020. Each day, we will upload tracks into our Jukebox articles, to accompany the matches played on that day. Today sees four matches – North Macedonia vs. The Netherlands, Ukraine vs. Austria, Finland vs. Belgium and Russia vs. Denmark.

North Macedonia – “Crno i belo”

Kaliopi represented North Macedonia at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in Baku, Azerbaijan. Kaliopi sang “Crno i belo” and finished in 13th place, with a total of 71 points.

The Netherlands – “Net als toen”

Corry Brokken represented The Netherlands at the 1957 Eurovision Song Contest in Frankfurt-am-Main, Germany. Corry sang “Net als toen” and finished in 1st place, with a total of 31 points.

Ukraine – “Dancing Lasha Tumbai”

Verka Serduchka represented Ukraine at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki, Finland. Verka sang “Dancing Lasha Tumbai” and finished in 2nd place, with a total of 235 points.

Austria – “Nobody But You”

Cesár Sampson represented Austria at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon, Portugal. Cesár sang “Nobody But You” and finished in 3rd place, with a total of 342 points.

Finland – “Tom Tom Tom”

Marion Rung represented Finland at the 1973 Eurovision Song Contest in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg. Marion sang “Tom Tom Tom” and finished in 6th place, with a total of 93 points.

Belgium – “L’amour ça fait chanter la vie”

Jean Vallée represented Belgium at the 1978 Eurovision Song Contest in Paris, France. Jean sang “L’amour ça fait chanter la vie” and finished in 2nd place, with a total of 125 points.

Russia – “Party for Everybody”

Buranovskiye Babushki represented Russia at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in Baku, Azerbaijan. Buranovskiye Babushki sang “Party for Everybody” and finished in 2nd place, with a total of 259 points.

Denmark – “Dansevise”

Grethe & Jørgen Ingmann represented Denmark at the 1963 Eurovision Song Contest in London, the United Kingdom. Grethe & Jørgen Ingmann sang “Dansevise” and finished in 1st place, with a total of 42 points.
