Unlike Ireland, Wales will not be making a return to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2021, which is to be held in France for the first time.

While S4C have not given a specific reason for not making a return, it is known that they don’t like to involve Children in these types of events while the Coronavirus pandemic is still evident.
