Previously, Khakassia announced their return to the Turkvision Song Contest in 2020, however at the time, further details were unknown.

Now we know who will be representing the region and the song that they will be performing. Darya Tacheyeva has been chosen to represent Khakassia, with her song “Ot chalynda”. The language in which the entry will be performed in, has yet to be revealed.
