It has been confirmed that the Ariston Theatre will have an audience for Sanremo 2021. It is still to be decided exactly how many audience members and journalists will be allowed to attend the event next March. Those attending will have swabs taken at the beginning of the event week, followed by regular temperature checks to prevent Covid-19.
RAI also confirmed that Sanremo 2021 will take place between Tuesday 2nd and Saturday 6th March. It is still unclear whether someone from Sanremo 2021 will be selected to represent Italy at next year’s Eurovision Song Contest.
